Brochure, catalogue, leaflet and general graphic design
Brochures, catalogues and leaflets are quite often the backbone of any marketing and promotional work that a business undertakes. For good reason, they are excellent at building brand awareness and as an 'offline' sales tool.
However, no matter what the focus is, they need to be:
Readable
Intriguing
Functional
Their primary role must be to grab the viewer’s attention and hold it long enough to deliver the message. Here are some tips to do just that:
Use a skilled copywriter to convey your message
Use pertinent questions to encourage the reader to find the answers
Stay true to your brand by keeping colours the same
Be careful with typefaces they are very powerful messages in themselves!
Pictures are great but they can cloud the message - don't use too many
Remember. If it's hard to read it, nobody will!
